이 페이지는 곁에(Gyeote) 앱을 설치하지 않은 상태에서도 계정과 관련 데이터의 삭제를 요청할 수 있도록 제공하는 공개 안내입니다. This page lets you request deletion of your Gyeote account and data without having the app installed.

1. 앱 안에서 삭제하기 (가장 빠른 방법)
곁에 앱이 기기에 설치돼 있다면 앱 안에서 직접, 즉시 처리하는 것이 가장 빠릅니다. 하단 탭의 “마이” → 계정 섹션의 “계정 삭제”로 들어가세요. 안내 내용을 확인했다는 체크와 최종 확인 다이얼로그, 두 단계를 거치면 요청이 즉시 처리됩니다.
2. 앱을 쓸 수 없는 경우 — 이메일로 요청하기
기기가 없거나, 앱을 이미 삭제했거나, 그 밖의 이유로 앱을 쓸 수 없는 경우에는 가입할 때 사용한 이메일 주소와 함께 help@gyeote.app으로 계정 삭제를 요청해 주시기 바랍니다. 본인 확인 후 지체 없이 처리합니다(본인 확인을 위해 추가 정보를 요청드릴 수 있습니다) — 개인정보처리방침 제7조의 권리 행사 처리 기준과 동일합니다.
3. 무엇이 삭제되고, 무엇이 남나요
삭제되는 것
- 위치 정보(최신 위치, 위치 이동 이력) 및 관련 설정
- 내가 올린 셋로그 영상(본편·썸네일 포함) 및 관련 정보 — 앱에서 삭제됩니다
- 오늘의 질문 답변
- 하트(반응)
- 걸음 수 일별 합계
- 관계 그룹 소속(멤버십), 내가 생성한 초대 코드, 기기 알림 토큰, 프로필 이미지 등 그 밖의 개인 설정
작성자(또는 생성자) 표시만 제거된 채 남는 것
여러 이용자가 함께 쓰는 공동 기록·자산이라, 한 명이 탈퇴했다고 그 자체를 지우면 함께 남아 있는 다른 구성원에게 영향을 주기 때문입니다.

- 셋로그 클립 댓글
- 내가 만든 관계 그룹(다른 구성원이 남아 있는 경우 — 그룹 이름·관계 유형은 유지되고 생성자 표시만 사라집니다)
부수 효과: 내가 올린 셋로그 영상이 삭제되면, 그 영상에 다른 구성원이 남긴 댓글도 함께 사라집니다. 영상 자체가 없어지므로 댓글만 남겨두는 것은 의미가 없다는 판단에 따른 것입니다.
위 “삭제”는 이용자가 앱에서 더 이상 접근·열람할 수 없게 된다는 의미입니다. 저장소에 남아 있던 실제 파일이 물리적으로 언제 제거되는지는 추가로 확인 중이며, 확인되는 대로 이 페이지와 개인정보처리방침을 함께 갱신합니다.
4. 보관 기간
- 위치 이동 이력: 수집일로부터 최대 14일 보관 후 자동 삭제
- 셋로그 영상: 올린 날로부터 최대 60일 후 자동 정리
- 지운 버킷리스트 항목: 삭제 후 30일간 휴지통에 보관되다 완전히 소멸
- 회원 탈퇴(계정 삭제): 요청이 처리되면 즉시 위 3항의 기준대로 처리

1. Delete in the app (fastest)
If Gyeote is installed on your device, deleting your account in the app is the fastest way. Go to the “My” tab → Account section → “Delete account”. Confirm you've read the notice, then confirm again in the final dialog — two steps, and the request is processed immediately.
2. Can't use the app? Request by email
If you don't have the device, already removed the app, or otherwise can't use it, email help@gyeote.app with the email address you signed up with and request account deletion. We verify your identity and act on the request without delay (we may ask for additional information to verify you) — the same standard as Article 7 of the Privacy Policy.
3. What's deleted, and what stays
Deleted
- Location data (latest location, location history) and related settings
- Setlog clips you posted (video and thumbnail) and related info — removed from the app
- Daily Question answers
- Hearts (reactions)
- Daily step count totals
- Relationship group membership, invite codes you created, device push tokens, profile photo, and other personal settings
Kept, with only your name/attribution removed
These are shared records other people in your groups still rely on, so removing one person's account doesn't erase the record itself — only the link to that person.
- Bucket list items (added/completed marks)
- Setlog clip comments
- Relationship groups you created, if other members remain (the group name and type stay; only the creator link is removed)
Side effect: if a Setlog clip you posted is deleted, any comments other members left on that clip are deleted with it — once the clip itself is gone, keeping the comments alone wouldn't mean anything.
“Deleted” above means you can no longer access or view it in the app. We're still confirming exactly when the underlying files are physically removed from storage, and will update this page and the Privacy Policy once that's confirmed.
4. Retention periods
- Location history: kept up to 14 days from collection, then deleted automatically
- Setlog clips: cleared automatically 60 days after you post them
- Deleted bucket list items: stay in trash for 30 days, then are gone for good
- Account deletion: processed immediately once your request is confirmed, per section 3 above
